Dedicated CNA student with a background in volunteering with senior citizens. Skilled in critical thinking and time management, seeking to leverage compassionate care and flexible approach to enhance resident well-being in a care tech position.
Coming up soon is my CNA class in which I am taking in February to help provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, and personal hygiene. I am currently enrolled in the class and just waiting to go through it, my class consists of Monday and Wednesdays from 2-10pm.
I am looking to get much more practice by applying for the care tech position to learn more and grow in the start of my lifelong career!
I volunteered many hours while in high school. Most of my hours went to the Senior citizens olympic games. I spent a good chunk of my junior year volunteering to help our our senior citizens. Doing so I learned compassion and most importantly patience while assisting in helping older folks while they participated in sports. I helped mark out lines from the basketball hoops, set the height, and handed out food and drinks to older our older citizens. A majority of my hours working here I registered each and every person who came in and assisted them to where they needed to be to either watch or participate in these sports, such as Tennis, Pickleball, and Basketball and much more.
I took my health class through Southeast Polk in high school and I was CPR certified when I passed my class that semester
