I am a generalist professional with a diverse background in the service industry, non-profit sector, and manufacturing, combined with expertise in graphic design, UI/UX design/development, and sales.
My most recent work experience involved working at a sign manufacturing company where I successfully closed over $200,000 in sales across hundreds of diverse and professional clients, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process and materials for constructing any professional signage. As well as this, I efficiently managed around 30 clients and projects simultaneously while completing all my other tasks. By staying organized, I provided excellent customer service, while ensuring all projects were completed accurately and on time leading to an efficient workflow. I received several reviews mentioning my service by name, and worked with many wonderful repeat customers, becoming a trusted sales representative, and founded professional relationships with important clients.
This work experience melds well with my skills in web and graphic design. I enjoy creating intuitive, engaging and responsive user interfaces and experiences within my websites for clients. I primarily use Adobe XD and Webflow, however I began my web development journey in HTML and CSS before transitioning to a modern website builder, so I have a fundamental understanding of website structure, and can work within and make changes to direct code. When working on a new project, I spend a lot of time in the planning, moodboarding, and low fidelity phase. I believe it is important to get a perfect feel and vision of what the final product needs to encompass, before you waste time trying to produce something without direction.
When working on websites and other projects, it helps to have the graphic design ability to make quality assets whenever needed. I specialize in advertisement/campaign art, icons, 3-D design, typography, professional signage, and fashion lineworks/textures, but I can make almost anything.
I combine the web and graphic design to develop intriguing brand identities that are impactful and leave the desired emotions with users. By integrating my sales expertise and social skills, I can than create effective funnels through various communication methods to guide clients toward a final purchase.
Recently, I have developed a luxury fashion brand and website, Heirlüm, from scratch. I designed everything to give someone who comes across the brand my desired experience. First, any clothing, graphic or home screen catches the eye, and then with a clean hierarchy the eye is led to appreciate the balance and aesthetic of the product environment. I introduce graphics and lighting tones that give a relaxing ambiance, and make sure to present the quality of the material. I believe luxury and brand identity exists within the mind of each observing individual, and the best way to culture that is by creating seamless experiences with impressive details, that subconsciously can win over an audience. Many things online can be imperfect and annoying, so I have noticed that when something is clean, simple, and works well, it makes all the difference in how well it does.
This project reflects my determination, adaptability, and comprehensive understanding of the design and development process, but only stands as a starting point for me to learn and improve from. I pride myself in growth and accepting change, and I know every year I will improve my design, and learn and gain inspiration from others to continue to elevate the quality of my output. I am looking for a work environment to become a part of, and give my all to. I learn quickly, and I enjoy contributing to and working with a team. I am a friendly, helpful teammate, and I like to meet new people and gain new experiences. To anyone reading my resume, I would appreciate a chance to get to know you, and your business, to see if I could be a valuable addition to your company.
-listening to the client's request/problem,
and recommending and talking them
through the best solution, while offering
multiple options if needed.
-Figuring out the construction process
needed for production, sourcing materials
from external manufactures, gathering
quotes to make official proposals for the
client based on margin, complexity and
labor.
-After approval, I then wrote up orders for
production, requiring a comprehensive
understanding of each project and clear
organization and notes for our production
team. For projects with installation, It was
my responsibility to contact the city and
JULIE for permits and clearing, and
organize the install plan between the client
and our installers.
-I was responsible for following up and
keeping track of each order to make sure
everything was getting completed correctly
and on time.
-Perfection was required as mistakes
were costly.
