First half time here as a direct NWH employee and then outsourced to Siemens, as NWH changed their EMR vendor from McKesson to Siemens, and as part of the deal, Siemens took over running IT. This gave me the opportunity to work colleagues at 80 other hospitals around the country, a centralized Helpdesk, and some remote staff in India.
Hired and managed a team of 17 Infrastructure Engineers who ran data centers, networking, compute, storage, enterprise desktop, telephony, application delivery, messaging, backups, monitoring, and audiovisual.
