My desire for knowledge has proven to be a source of great motivation throughout my life, as I desire to utilize all that I have learned to aid those most in need. Having devoted much of my academic career to the study of human ailments, I understand well the need for continued, deligent research into human health and advancement by those most willing to commit themselves to such studies. This desire has only been further bolstered by brief time as a volunteer researcher and a former martial artist, as well as through my interactions with medical and research professionals, especially those in the field of neuroscience. Through my education and brief experience as a volunteer researcher, I honed not only my ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written words, but I learned to appreciate protocol, procedure, analytical thinking, problem solving, and detail. Carrying forward all that I have and have yet to learn, it is my sincerest intention to assist those in my community, notably veterans and first responders.
I received a Third Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do under Master David Vincent during my time as a martial artist. Additionally, I have experience with the French language and possess a conversant level of understanding.
