After the all the time I spent as a cook for Applebees and now the 3 years as a manager there's not much that I can't do. I open and close the restaurant and kitchen more opens than closes. I write prep lists and schedules and do all the food orders. I do my best to keep the team involved and engaged to help keep food cost low.
I cooked primarily at first and after a few months I became a key hourly and started opening the kitchen 4 days a week writing the prep lists and freezer pulls and then switched to the line for the rest of my shift. I did that for about 7 years I would also fill in when the km was on vacations.
