• Assists the Conductor in the safe movement of trains by adhering to applicable operating rules/practices.

• Provides customer service by assisting passengers with questions and special requests.

• Coach Attendants will be required to keep assigned coaches clean for the duration of the trip, including maintenance of all restrooms.
• Sleeping Car Attendants will be required to offer passengers all first-class amenities, make beds, change linen and keep restroom and shower area clean and sanitary for the duration of the trip.

• Obeyed traffic laws and followed established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Performed pre-trip inspection and testing of school bus for mechanical problems prior to beginning scheduled run.

Brakeman:

• Conducted brake tests to ensure proper operation of train air brake system.
• Safely align track switches to ensure safe movement of train.
• Understanding of railroad emergency procedures.
• Service and operate train generators and electrical systems.
• Ensuring safe flagging procedures to move a train through a crossing.

M.O.W. Equipment Operator:

• Knowledge of characteristics of railroad that is being operated on.
