  • Oversaw daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards to include creating a safety barrier on each of the broach lifts to keep trays of parts falling off the lift, daily Lead meetings to discuss shop performance and generating new ideas for manufacturing improvement.
  • Led team in implementing process improvements, enhancing workflow efficiency across departments. This includes a new work bench at N11 without drawers so excessive waste can be eliminated. The same project is currently under way in building A in the suppressor cell. Completed the first Gemba board when first standing up the new boards for other shifts to follow. Continuously improving the board all the time.
  • Mentored staff on best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Trained the SW lead how to setup SWs in order to forward production due to setup staff shortages.
  • Developed training materials, streamlining onboarding process for new employees in various roles. This includes a weekly training session with new NTY machine operators who are paired with a member of setup or the NTY Lead. Also created an SW training curriculum that is meant to be a "crawl, walk, run" system of training for new SW operators.
  • Monitor machine staffing and am able to move machine operators at a moments notice to streamline priority machines.
