• Lead discussions with business partners and vendors to gather information. Consult with leadership, architecture, project teams and end users to identify system requirements and perform feasibility analysis on potential changes related to existing and future security and technical architectures.

Responsible for architecting, designing and managing development of client/server applications, network managements tools, SAN, NAS, backup & policies, Accomplishments throughout have included:

• Implement a Email Archiving solution (EMC EmailXtender) for Lotus Notes
• Developed and implemented successfully VMware server environment in the DC/MD region using VMware Technology (ESX servers deployments, Vmotion implementation, and Virtual Center for over 100 virtual servers. This amounted to over a ½ million dollar savings.
• Migrated SAN Infrastructure from EMC (2) DMX 1000, (4) McData 6460 to a DMX2000, DMX3000 & 4 Cisco 9509 Fabric Directors
• Installed, Configured & Managed a SAN – EMC Symmetrix 8830 & EMC NAS Celerra, McData 6460 Fabric Directors
• Created a bidirectional DR policy using the SAN, NAS, Backups using SRDF & DWDM
• Replaced mainframe backup (Harbor) with a new open systems backup (Verities NetBackup + StorageTek) with savings of over million dollars yearly.
• Migrated all NetWare date to a Pure Microsoft (W2K) environment. We were able to eliminate over 50 NetWare Servers.
• Part of the infrastructure team that is in charge of the maintenance and configuration of a server farm of well over 600 Windows & Linux servers.
• Provide Level 3 support for the network
• Monitor, insulation and configuration of HP OpenView, System Insight Manager and HP ManageX
