Providing customer service in the health field, I pride myself on keeping my doctor on task and on time. I enjoy professional challenges and that plays hand in hand with my ability to muli tasking in clinic! With a background in photography outside of the health field, I was amazed when I learned there was photography in optometry. Striving to be the best I possibly can, I wanted to learn how to take these scans and photos efficiently and consistently. I started as a technician/ photographer and worked my way up to assisting and still hope to grow in the future!

Opthamologist Assist and Technician

Retina Vitreous Associates
  • Greet patients and complete their eye exam.
  • Experience with the program NextGen.
  • Dispense injections as well as prepare injection trays for the doctor.
  • Work inside patient charts and type interpretations.
  • Room patients and apply numbing medications to their eyes to prepare them for their injections.
  • Take scans with an OCT machine as well as take color photos on the Optos machine.
  • Basic knowledge of Macular and Retinal Diseases

Chiropractic Assistant

Family Chiropractic Clinic
  • Greet patients entering office
  • Schedule appointments
  • Preform preliminary exams on patients before the doctor sees them.
  • Use my knowledge of anatomy to complete charts for doctors as well as prepping acupuncture rooms.
