  • Worked closely with senior BEA managers & staff to guide operational and business strategic support of national defense mission.
  • Expand business portfolio from exclusively Post-Irradiation Examinations into projects in cybersecurity, predictive maintenance & plant health monitoring, advanced instrumentation development for ATR experiment support, modeling & simulation for Navel Reactor applications, HPC support for NR Program work conducted at Naval Nuclear Laboratory in the COVID and post-COVID environments.
  • Formation of strategic partnerships for both project support and collaborative initiatives that support NR mission and advance the research technology and method development in analytic chemistry and post-irradiation examination.
  • Responsible for compliance with Prime Contract & DOE regulatory requirements, while enforcing unique security requirements for information protection of NR program.
  • Leverage professional networking from 35 years in the Naval Reactors program into new business for INL. Since joining the BEA team in 2015, business has grown from ~$2.3M to over $42M in completed and projected work.
  • Increase efficiency in supporting the multi-faceted operations at MFC. Two new production facilities (EML & FCF) are now operational to provide dedicated support for the Navy's classified work and thereby reducing the impact on other DOE work in HFEF and IMCL.
  • Improve INL Infrastructure to support NR mission needs (i.e. data processing and transfer capabilities between INL and remote consumers in New York and Pittsburgh).
  • Design & install new test capabilities and increase the intellectual capital at INL by advancing NS&T R&D mission (i.e. photo-thermal reflectivity and residual stress system designs; advanced instrumentation).
  • Leadership during abnormal event and managing potential negative impacts to INL reputation and minimizing impact on mission work.
