Full-time Dispatch/Equipment Supervisor

  • Successfully opened the WCHNC building/Feeder Department. Mastered these programs to be a successful dispatcher; TMS, TFCS, GFTS, and HFCS. WCHNC being a new building and few previous UPS employees, my team and myself built WCHNC from the ground up, along with mastering dispatching all the sorts in WCHNC; Night Sort, Twilight sort and Day sort.
  • Process weekly payroll in GTS and Time & Labor for 99+ employees, including payroll close out, maintain employee timecard edits, corrections, and adjustments.
  • Communicating daily via phone, email, customer request, and text with multiple different customers, Customer Solutions, Account Representatives, Operations teams, and other dispatch locations to ensure the customers/operations request are met (scheduled and extra pick-ups and where they should be ran), scheduling new customer pickups and working with them to ensure they are getting what they need from us at UPS. Also, working eagerly with internal/external partners to ensure all packages get serviced in a timely manner.
  • Avid team member of the East Central Region Equipment team for 4 years and counting! Mastered overseeing 6 yards by monitored equipment balance, equipment performance, identifying issues and coordinating timely repairs or replacements. Overseeing daily equipment operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficiency standards.
  • Responsible for the semi-annual bid, vacation (for drivers, shifters and office staff), along with bump and rolls.
  • Full-time dispatch supervisor responsible for the day to day operational needs. Following up with customers and account representatives to makes sure the customers needs are met. Assuring that all loads make service (customer loads and hub to hub loads), and helping out other facilities, by working as a team to ensure any load that would have to go through NC or SC will be serviced on time.
  • Work diligently as a team with Scheduling, Feeders IE, Air Planners and the operation to make all scheduling needs are met when it comes to the customers.
