My name is Megan Krahenbuhl, I am a 4.0 college student, with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services with Family, Youth, & Administration. I am currently going to school for my Masters in Social Work degree, and plan on becoming licensed in the near future in the hopes of becoming an advocate within either a hospital setting working with a diverse population, or becoming a Foster & Adoption Social Worker advocating for those within the foster care system. I am currently working at Clear Creek Elementary, in Clear Lake, IA, working as a Special Education Paraprofessional, where I work in a level 3 room alongside students that have some sort of disability, whether it be Down Syndrome, Autism, or they are nonverbal. I am also currently work at Oakwood Care Center in Clear Lake, Iowa as an Aide/Medication Manager. I have acquired the skills of CPR/First Aid training, Dementia training, mandatory reporting on both child and adult, courses on HIPPA, ethics, and abuse through both my employment and educational opportunities, as well as my CPI training and Suicide Prevention.
