Leadership Experience
As a General Instructor for the State of North Carolina, I am tasked with instructing both new and veteran law enforcement personnel with up-to-date and innovative ways to serve the community. As a training officer, I have successfully trained several fellow officers and helped them to develop the necessary skills to be successful in this career. I am an informal leader on my patrol squad. I have new and senior officers contact me for help with agency policies as well as state law.
Communication Experience
I have experience in presenting presentations in front of large groups. I hold a certification as a General Law Enforcement Instructor through the North Carolina Criminal Justice and Training Commission. My entire professional career has been based on communication. Every day I speak to new people and have to utilize my critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help them.
