Additional Information

Back in 2015, when the START program was implemented into Ohio from Kentucky, I had the privilege of becoming one of Athens Co. first Family Peer Mentors. Although, this program only lasted 2 years with Health Recovery Services (my employer at that time) I then understood what this program had to offer for our community members struggling with addiction and getting a case opened with Child Protective Services. I knew this was a program I wanted to stay apart of. So, when the opportunity presented itself to come and work with ISBH as a START family peer mentor, I knew I couldn't pass that by. I have a passion for this program, and feel I can take on the challenge to bring each county to the live system PCSAO is wanting. I will strive to be a role model to each and every peer I work with and also lead with example.
