At Banfield we we were seeing between 20-25 patients a day. I was always in the back, but when the phone got crazy, I would answer and take care of the clients. We did most of our labs in house. I am quite proficient in reading urinalysis, fecals, and running blood.
We were doing 4-6 surgeries a day.
These are some of the reasons I moved over to televet. It is more personal and we are not rushing our patients or clients. I would much rather practice quality care over quantity.
