Melanie Cortes

Currently a Junior enrolled in Fallbrook Union High School. I have earned the High Honor roll recognition year after year, maintaining a GPA of 3.5 and earning the distinguished conduct award for MCJROTC. I have served as a leader on multiple projects that involve team work and team effort successfully positioning my teams on the highest proficiency level. I am set as a translator in MCJROTC for my peers as needed and I always strive to set the example for others.

I have also volunteered at our Church and continue to work as a Babysitter for relatives, friends, and others who have been recommended to me.

I am responsible, organized, and empathetic with background caring for multiple children that ended calling me their favorite Nanny. I have babysat in multiple occasions gaining independent skills and initiative on setting examples for appropriate social behavior with other children. Adept in caring for up to 2 children at a time while preparing meals and managing personal, and educational activities for each child while ensuring I had the capability to watch them closely at all times.

Overall I am very attentive, good relationship-building skills, really good listener, and I enjoy being helpful and coordinating activities.
