I have been a LPN since 2002. Working in multiple areas of the healthcare field. I have been a roomer in the office setting, ran the lab, working as flow manager and now as a clinical lead. I have a strong work ethic, believing that patient care is the most important. In the last few years I have transitioned into the operational side of the office setting, working closely with the office manager and site based medical director.
Currently I am working as the clinical lead here at Indian Trail Family Medicine. My Job duties include working as a right hand man for Willette Butler. I am responsible for on boarding new employees, safety office, vaccine coordinator, working as a flow manager, ordering of clinical supplies and vaccines. I have also worked closely with the site based medical director, Dr Timothy Kennard while making decisions that will affect the office. I work with Butler each month on looking at budgets and gathering individual provider information for monthly meetings.
At Union Primary Care I worked with patient care directly and indirectly. I started this office with Dr Jody Holler working here for over 10 years. I was a roomer, primary lab contact and then moved into the role of flow manager. I was also in charge of ordering vaccines and clinical supplies. I worked closely with with managers to maintain that office remained up to date with safety qualifications. I also worked to ensure that staffing plans and PTO was completed each week. Working closely with management I began to obtain a working knowledge of the operational aspects of the office.
In this role I was a roomer for Dr Valesco. I worked side by side with him taking care of patients in the office. This would include vitals, medication review, performing vaccines and test in office to include EKGS and Labs. I worked here for almost 2 years only leaving to stay home with my second child
