I have held various positions through out my 20 years of experience at Oakwood Haven. I started from the lowest position there was, the Advocates Assistant and worked my way to the position of Assistant Director. I have experienced and soaked in every aspect of the program during that time. I have proved able to work in a stressful work environment. I have proven to be an asset to clients. I have simultaneously been and advocate as well as a program leader for many years. I know the program inside and out, and am familiar with the grants and grant activities. I have also written the grants for DCF Children's services that have provided help to the Children of the Lac Courte Orielles Reservation for many years. I did all of this while also completing my education. I have attended many trainings through the years that pertained to advocacy and directorship.
