  • I was employed by Big Lots Distribution Center as an Asset Protection Officer
  • As part of my role as an Asset Protection Officer, I have a variety of responsibilities that I need to fulfill
  • We are the initial emergency responders in the warehouse, responsible for addressing all incidents, such as accidents, injuries, theft and spills
  • To handle accidents and incidents, it is necessary for me to collect comprehensive information, including detailed accounts from witnesses, summaries of events, any available footage from cameras, and photographs of the incident
  • After gathering the necessary data, I am required to compose a comprehensive report that encompasses the statements, images, and every detail uncovered during the investigation
  • As the leader in safety, I am responsible for conducting safety observations of the warehouse and providing one-on-one coaching on safety to the employees
