I have been involved in Sonoran Desert preservation through my time as a board member of the Desert Foothills Land Trust and the Friends of Spur Cross Ranch. Together with other volunteers, we saved over 2000 acres of pristine desert land from becoming a golf course and instead created a large Conservation Area in Cave Creek AZ.
