Raised in Lyndonville, I began my career working with inner-city youth at Wediko and as a children's case manager and foster parent for NEK Human Services. These experiences paved the way for my 18-year journey in education. As a lifelong learner, I have stayed current with best teaching practices and worked collaboratively with colleagues to improve instructional practice. My leadership practice is rooted in a deep belief in equity and student voice; I am dedicated to using restorative, culturally responsive practices to create safe learning environments for every student. I take pride in building strong relationships, fostering staff collaboration, and using research-backed data to improve school systems. My husband and I are also the proud parents of three college graduates now living in Alaska.
