Summary

I've worked in the classroom for 30 yrs as teacher, plus the two years as a paraprofessional, and four years as a substitute teacher at the elementary level.

For the first twenty years, most of my experience was teaching GR. k-2. The last Ten years gave me experience in One Room teaching, Gr.K-8.

Although I enjoy kids of all ages, I am probably most suited for Pre-K to Second Grade.

Working as a Counselor at summer camp was enjoyable.

In the year 2011 I had the opportunity to get a pre-school up and running when the teacher called to take that position had a surgery at the beginning of the school year. I enjoyed that experience for six weeks, until she was ready to come in and take the wheel.

The 1995-1996 school year I enjoyed a "Most School Spirit" award.

At the end of the 1995-1996 school year, I was honored, along with hundreds of other teachers in So CA for "Most School Spirit". A big celebration at Angels Stadium!

During that same year, I was asked to pilot a GR.K-2 program in our school. This was enjoyable, fulfilling, and just plain fun.
