  • Draexlmaier Automotive of America LLC (DAA) is pleased to extend you a conditional offer of employment in our Livermore facility. Below you will find important considerations related to our offer of employment:
  • Contingency: This offer is contingent on an acceptable background check, pre-employment drug screen, and your acceptance. This offer, if not accepted, will expire at close of business on 09/26/2024. If you have any questions regarding our policy or screening, please contact Jacqueline Freeman, at 864-309-9238 as soon as possible.
  • Hire Date: 10/07/2024 or an otherwise mutually agreed upon date.
  • Title: Ops 2 Production Lamination (56280), reporting to Sherif Mostafa.
  • Base Compensation: Your base compensation will be $27.82 per hour. This position is classified under the FLSA as a Non-Exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay. You will receive 1.5 times your hourly rate per hour of overtime. Pay is bi-weekly, every other Thursday by direct deposit.
  • Scheduled Hours: This is a Full time position. Normal work hours will average 80 per pay period; however, it may be necessary to work additional hours due to business needs. DAA reserves the right to require overtime as mandatory. This position is for C shift.
  • Scheduled Time Off:
  • CA Vacation - Beginning in 2025, you will be eligible for 160 hours accrued biweekly. For 2024, your CA Vacation will be a prorated amount of 6.15 hours accrued biweekly.
  • CA Sick Hours - 40 hours annually are provided for sick time.
  • Holidays - DAA also provides up to eleven (11) paid company holidays per calendar year. All full time employees are eligible for holiday pay from the first day of hire.
  • Scheduled Shutdowns - In addition to individual holiday days, there are additional planned plant shutdowns. DAA will not file unemployment during shutdowns. Employees should plan accordingly and save CA Vacation to cover these periods.
  • Employee Benefits Program: DAA offers a competitive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability, coverage. Elected medical, dental, and vision benefits begin on the 1st day of the month after date of hire. A short benefits summary is included with this letter.
  • In addition to the above benefits, DAA employees are eligible to enroll in the 401k plan after one pay period. DAA provides a match for employee contributions at a rate of 100% of the first 3% of each employee’s contribution and 50% of the next 2%.
  • Introductory Period: The first ninety (90) days in a position is considered to be an introductory period. At the beginning of the introductory period, the supervisor and Employee will review the Employee's job description and set goals and expectations for the period. The Company reserves the right to extend the Introductory Period on one or more occasions and the Employee's employment is terminable both during and after the completion of the Introductory Period.
