Mervel LaRose

I’ve gotten the opportunity to participate in some of north americas biggest celebrations and was fortunate enough to make a name for myself and represent the community. I’d say my biggest accomplishment was being able to bring different people from different tribes to our home and show them where we live and the good in our community. I’m very proud of the singer I became and the dancer I became. It’s an honor to be able to go to different communities and be able to showcase what I’m gifted with and to me that’s my biggest accomplishment so far in my short 25 years of being on this earth.

I’m currently in process of going to school for Dakota language. And hopefully a trade school for carpentry
