My name is Mia Amoure Madden. I have been a CNA since I was 18, making my experience in healthcare 6 years. For the past 4-5 years, I have been dedicated to completing my nursing degree. At the age of 19 I began my prerequisites. While I was accepted into nursing school when I was 22, I did not begin until I was 23 due to taking a medical leave prior to beginning, as I was a surrogate with twins. In my 4th quarter of nursing school, I was a surrogate again and was diagnosed with preeclampsia at the beginning of my 5th quarter. I took the quarter off as medically recommended and came back strong and completed my 5th quarter. I am currently in my last and final quarter of the program. Because of my experience in pregnancy and family, I aspire to be a mother baby nurse. Though I will be a new nurse, I come with heavy experience in my desired field. By the age of 25 I have had 2 babies of my own and 3 babies for 2 families. I know pain, I know comfort, I know sickness, I know healing, I know surgeries, I know complications, I know sadness, I know reliability, and I know family. I would be honored to bring my experience and passion into your team and community.
