Michael Boaitey

At Grafton my duty as direct support professional consisted of maintaining the health and well being of individuals whom varied in age, race and personality. All of which shared similar struggles with cognitive and developmental disabilities. My career at Grafton demanded me to become more human. I develop stronger characteristics of patience, compassion, and vigilance. I worked days and overnights in service to said individuals and oversaw daily activities, food preparation and intake, as well as medicinal administration. This work field has helped me further understand the broad spectrum of humans and humanly behavior and has prepared me to care for and begin to understand a wide range of personality type. I can be gentle with the weak and stern with the uncooperative.
