• Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security to promote safety
• Provides for traffic and parking enforcement within campus area and participates in foot and vehicle patrols
• Reports potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel
• Operates vehicle in a safe and responsible manner to avoid accidents and traffic or parking violations.

• Primary Duties are Details, Emergencies, Ride Along
• Details are crowd control for events, traffic control, and arresting offenders
• Emergency responses normally entails Traffic support for accidents, Scene Security for Homicides, Natural disasters
• Ride Along are going on patrol with a full-time deputy and assisting him or her throughout the shift.

• Extensive Vehicle Patrol of all properties owned by the university
• Enforcement of all parking violations by the use of ticketing
• Responding to emergency calls regarding Fire and EMS.

• Securing the building overnight, responding to fire alarms, foot patrol of building and parking lot, signing visitors in and out of the building
• Conducting detailed reports involving hazards within the work facility.

• Position staff members accordingly, Assisting staff would the removal of unwanted or intoxicated individuals, draft detailed reports on incidents involving patrons and staff members, provide safety and security to all guests within the venue.

• Monitoring CCTV cameras, assisting with the apprehension of shoplifters, foot patrol throughout the building, responding to alarms and emergencies
• Conducting detailed reports of all the above-listed incidents.

• Search bags and conduct pat-down, carding of guests, removal of disruptive guests who break venue policies.
