Opened SOIB cases, submitted case presentations, and testimony in state and federal court.
- Ensure all warrant operations and investigative activities comply with federal law, USMS policy, and SOPs. Create and review Use of Force and incident reports in Capture to evaluate articulation and policy compliance. Serve as District Threat Investigator, investigating threats against judicial personnel and briefing leadership on findings and risk mitigation.
- Communicate regularly with judges, judicial staff, USMS leadership, U.S. Attorneys, FBI, DEA, ATF, BIA, tribal police, and local law enforcement on joint operations, threat investigations, and case findings. Provide sworn statements and testimony. Have built and maintained strong working relationships with tribal, federal, and local law enforcement partners across Montana.
- Pivotal in creating Memorandum of Understanding partnerships with multiple agencies. Key in repairing formerly damaged relationships with Helena Police Department and Lewis and Clark County.
