Michael Dempsey

I started employment at Delmar a couple months after graduating high school. I was initially hired in to load delivery trucks at night. I did that for a year then moved to first shift warehouse. The warehouse details included repairing damaged cases, unload semis and place incoming product in appropriate location, taking product to special event locations and overall general warehouse cleaning. After around a year on first shift I acquired my Class A commercial driver's license. At that point I became a driver/ salesman. My responsibilities then became to arrive at each account, create a sales order, deliver the sales order then collect payment at the end of the delivery. Other responsibilities of the position were to update point of sale pricing on a monthly basis, sell in and build displays, sell in new products and hang point of sale signage. In 2020 I took a position as a bulk delivery driver. I currently deliver presold and prebuilt orders to grocery stores.
