Growing up on the farm I learned very fast that if things are not in the order that they are supposed to be in, things happen very fast.  Machinery breaks down, situations become unsafe, and people can get hurt.  Then transitioning into construction I used that same mentality to make sure that the crew I was working with was always in a safe environment. All while making sure the project that we were working on was prepared to the best of our abilities so that the sealant would last the longest it could.  It took time and having to re-install old caulking to learn what worked and what didn't.  Then when moving to parts sales, if one number was wrong in the part number a customer might get the wrong part and their livelihood would be impacted.  And as a Safety & Security Administrator I had to learn fast how to respond to incidents happening very fast, and how to respond in a calm and professional manner.
