  • Responsible for supervising the weight room of the Muller Center gym at RPI
  • Had to make sure everyone was following regular gym protocol in addition to any new policies regarding social distancing
  • In charge of communicating everything that happened in the weight room to my co-workers via radio.
  • Inspected equipment to maintain proper functioning during peak activity.
  • Explained regulations, policies, or procedures to general public to confirm understanding and compliance.

Roof restoration worker

  • Worked in the restoration of roofs in multiple job sites in New York City
  • My work consisted of demolition of the pre-existing roof and removal of all debris
  • Then, I would replace the roof using wood, Dens
  • Eck gypsum boards, two layers of insulation, and finishing it off by applying modified bitumen using the torch down method.

Triage at the Hub

  • Hold weekly meetings with the rest of my e-board to make sure everybody is up to date with everything and delegate necessary tasks.

Projects

Aluminum Train

  • The fabrication and assembly of mini aluminum train parts with the use of basic machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, band saws, and grinders, including micrometers, vernier calipers, and other devices of use in a machine shop or laboratory. Welding techniques and tool making were also considered.

Fully modular marine safety system (AutoSpot)

  • In a team of 8, a marine safety device was produced for our Introduction to Engineering Design.
  • Final product was affordable with a cost of less than $200, and easy to install with less than an estimated 10 minute install time.
  • Had a secure design as it was watertight, and able to handle at least 7 separate sensors at a time, and any value below 7 as well.
  • Eliminates the need for a spotter since the system autonomously detected falls.
