I troubleshooted and maintained all headend and data center equipment from the satellite receivers to the fiber optic transmitters. Including receivers, transmitters, encoders. routers, switches and all fiber cable and connectors to the various equipment. I was responsible for adding and remove channels. continually upgrading CMTS routers for fast speed internet, phone and switched video. Installed and troubleshoot the forward and receive data from the field fiber node including DWDM and CWDM mux's by using a OTDR, light meter and a fiber optic spectrum analyzer.

Maintained, troubleshot, and repaired outside plant. Responsible for all RF forward and return signals from the optical node to the customer's home. Troubleshot and repaired all coaxial and fiber cables. Including locating fiber faults and cuts. Using an OTDR, a light meter, and a fusion splicer. Responsible for fiber optic and RF amplifier nodes and amplifiers, including troubleshooting and repair of all electronic components.

Installed and repaired all RF coaxial cable from the tap to the customer's TV.
