I am responsible for auditing parts, coming off of our presses, to make sure they are within spec per GM. I am also responsible for making sure no defective parts make it to our customer( within our plant) and contain any defective parts that make it past us.
Production Technician

As a production technician on an assembly line, we were responsible for building truck frames for GM. I have welded and repaired frames. I have built parts in sub assembly and inspected the final product before it was shipped to our customer. I have floated around and worked different positions, including working in each department of the plant.
