Michael Caster

Accomplished educator and communicator, adept in lesson plan implementation and effective communication, demonstrated through trusted performance at Swartz Creek Middle School and strategic public relations for the United States Army Reserve. Excelled in adapting teaching strategies and fostering positive relationships, significantly enhancing learning environments and public engagement.

In 2013 I led my eagle project. I converted a garage on the grounds of a church in Fenton into a Sunday School/hang-out space for the youth of the church. In total the project took about 2.5-3 weeks due to working on it after school and on the weekends when I was able to get the most help. I worked with the church to design the look of the space, and I personally organized and led a group of upwards of 10 people a day on carrying out the design that was agreed upon. From this accomplishment the church was happy with the new space, and I became the first Eagle Scout on both sides of my family.

I have my CPI basic certification, that I received back in November. I decided to get my CPI certification, because I felt it was a good thing to have as a teacher to protect the students if needed. I plan on getting my advanced certification in CPI as well next when it is offered.
