Proud Union member of 18 yrs. Completed 12 week pre - job training IMI International Masonry Institute in Bordentown NJ in 2007. As apprentice I competed in and won regional apprentice competition. Followed by competing and winning 1st place in International Apprentice Competition held in Bowie Maryland 2009. 1st local 7 apprentice to achieve that. Working my way up to Forman running all size jobs for various Terrazzo co. on many job sites throughout Pa, Nj, Ny, Ct and Mass.

Working with project manager and road superintendent running various jobs as Forman adhering to safety and quality standards to ensure on time completion. Jobs include Rye brook elementary, North river waste water treatment project among many others

Worked on various jobs as installer and grinder west point and LaGuardia airport

Hired by the owner to oversee ESA grand central station project. Duties included hiring manpower coordinate phases with GC to ensure safety and quality and adherence to all specs of contract etc.

Working with project managers and the road superintendent overseeing as many as 15 workers on daily tasks to complete flooring installation and grinding/finishing process insuring highest quality, job site safety and on time job completion. Managing various job sites including VA Hospital and Rutgers Athletic building.

Working with the apprentice coordinator I started to develop a relative training program to instruct as many as 15 apprentices at any given time on all aspects of terrazzo from job site conditions, blueprint reading to terrazzo installation and grinding / finishing process. I also instructed apprentices on how to navigate union procedures to insure proper working habits.

Working with owner and road superintendent overseeing as many as 6 workers to complete job installation and grinding/finishing process insuring highest quality job site safety and on time completion of projects. Managing various projects including Newark Airport, 53rd Street Courthouse in NY, Port Authority and GW Bridge.

Working with the owners , project managers and road superintendents overseeing as many as 18 workers on installation and grinding/finishing process ensuring highest quality, job site safety, on time project completion, managing various projects including phases of World Trade 1 Observatory floors also Tower 4 and Javits center.

Working with owners and road superintendent in directing as many as 10 workers for installation and grinding/finishing process ensuring highest quality job site safety and on time project completion, running various projects including Mount Siani Hospital residential and emergency building, Schoenfeld theater and Logan International Airport projects.

After joining the union I worked my way up from apprentice helper to grinder then to Journeymen, earning an opportunity to be a foreman running various projects, working with the owners, project managers and road superintendents overseeing as many as 20 workers on installation and grinding/finishing process and ensuring highest quality , job site safety and on time project completion, running various projects including phases of the 100 11th Ave. condo project , John Jay College and Springfield Mass Buss Recreation building.

Started as order selector working through every position leading to night shift supervisor. Day shift order auditor lead to site facility lead. Supervising as many as 80 people and responsible for receiving and shipping millions of dollars of auto parts daily. Achieved many certifications and licenses from equipment certs, management training and site specific awards.
