- Investigate insurance claims to determine liability for insured or claimant by carefully reviewing evidence such as statements, photos, police report, and videos
- Conducted inbound and outbound calls to customers and ensured excellent customer service by being proactive with customers concerns, being attentive and empathetic with customers by exhausting my resources to provide a solution
- Created accident reports when insured or claimant called in to report and made the process easier by asking all information we are needing and slowly going over the process because majority of customers have never been in accident and I provided that space for customers to ask any questions or anything I needed to go over again to ensure insured or claimant are knowledgeable about the process
- My goal was to not only provide excellent customer service but to ensure my customer is competent of how the process works and the outcomes
- Built multitasking skills by completing queue that are based on claims that have not been completed – as working on a team level I would have to work these claims to completion by reissuing said payment to insured or claimant, creating checks, making outbound calls to insured or claimant to complete recorded interviews, needing statements, answering internet inquiries, re-reviewing for liability, entering information from police report and determining liability, receiving photos from insured or claimant and reviewing for liability, setting up inspections and repairs for customers, handle completing exposures, making payment due to claim going to arbitration, assigning subrogation department when insured is placed non-fault, assigning our investigation team when claim does not seem moral
- Working in an environment that was constantly changing procedures and goals by remaining to be open and intentional when receiving claims and ensuring I am able to complete by sending letters, emails, and making outbound calls and leaving a voicemail that informs them what we are needing to complete the claim.
