I’m a senior at Fieldcrest High School, graduating in May of 2026. My career goal is to become a teacher in mathematics and physical education. Mathematics has always been my academic forte, and I take great satisfaction in helping classmates who may need extra guidance and support in this area of study. Alongside my academic pursuits, I have wholeheartedly immersed myself in both indoor and outdoor track and field since my freshman year. The thrill of competition has driven me to earn numerous accolades, including a noteworthy 9th place finish at the state competition during my junior year. Presently, I proudly hold three school records and am eager to qualify for state in my final year of high school, further demonstrating my dedication and perseverance. In addition to my studies and athletics, I work as a lead waiter at a local pizza parlor. Balancing education, athletes and work can be a challenge, but I manage to fit in 6 hours of work each day, five days a week; all while maintaining a strong focus on my athletic performance and academic goals. I have maintained a respectable GPA of 3.51, showcasing my ability to juggle multiple responsibilities. Looking ahead, my career ambitions are clear: I plan to take my talents to Monmouth College. I aspire to earn a masters degree in Education, with focus on Mathematics and Physical Education with the intent of coaching track and field in the future. I am excited for the journey that lies ahead as I pursue my passions in both education and athletics.
