Senior TADSS Instructor providing certification and training on Bradley fighting vehicle, M1 Abrams, Wheeled vehicles, and personnel MILES equipment. Certified senior instructor on the Bradley COFT-SA and Advance Gunnery Training Simulator system. Taught over a 500 soldiers and DOD civilians during the six plus years as a TADSS instructor. Subject matter expert in issuing and turn-in of equipment using TS-MAT program. Manages and creates electronic badges using a program (On guard 7.5) on the desk top computer to support access control into the Training Support Center. Performs assessment and audits during daily security/threat checks on the building to ensure access control is enforced. Serves as the senior Government Purchase Card Holder for the agency and handles all the bills for repairs, equipment, and supplies and makes sure to follow guidelines and stay in a monthly budget of $ 30,000. Developed a POI of internal monitoring for GPC cardholders that identifies potential risk in spending. Developed a POI for a Javelin course to increase the support to the soldiers and the over all mission or the organization. Ensured processes are in place for the appropriate accounting of all disclosures of privacy protected information made during GPC transactions, by ensuring all documents stay locked away. Reviewed and approve all Memorandums created for training or GPC request. Conducted privacy assessments at facilities by going on administrative rounds on a regular basis to all facilities to ensure compliance. Senior train the trainer for any secondary GPC cardholders. Reconcile and allocate various transactions on a daily basis online and reallocate to the proper accounting code on US Bank Access online. Handles Funding request through GFEBS and keeps track of all purchases and receipts.

Rated as the top TADSS Instructor for the Training Support Center having experience with the Engagement Skills Trainer (EST II), Instrumental Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement Systems (IMILES), Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS), Fire Support Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (FSCATT), HMMWV Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT), Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Egress Trainer (MET), Training Improvised Explosive Devices, etc. within the Training Support Center (TSC). Over the last three years received excellent as overall rating on all six element of evaluations. The work consists of duties involved in non-related processes, procedures, and methods to develop and perform instruction, tours, briefings, simulator operation, discrepancy resolution and TADSS Contact Team support as needed to support training. Serves as Training Support Advisor for tenant units assigned within the AR 5-9 support area footprint, (i.e. Active Army, US Army Reserve, National Guard, ROTC, DA Civilians, and other DOD Agencies). Perform duties as a Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Instructor/Operator in the Training Support Center and Virtual Training Facility. The work consists of duties involved in non-related processes, procedures, and methods to develop and perform instruction tours, briefings, simulator operation, discrepancy resolution, Circuit Rider visits and TADSS issue and receipt. The work affects the customers, (i.e., Active Army, US Army Reserve, National Guard, ROTC and other DOD, Federal, State, and Local Government agencies) in the Ft. Carson area and facilitates the work of other TSC employees.

Conducts numerous briefings and tours impacting on the customer’s ability to request and receive TSC support. Inventory procedures and discrepancy resolution processes impact on property accountability, validity of hand receipt documentation and adequacy of research to reach conclusions on status and appropriateness of actions taken. Develops and updates training device instruction course materials. Interprets and adapts guidelines and established training objectives for the type of unit and equipment, and design training modules to meet their objectives. Makes key recommendations on deployment and redeployment of contact team support to location within the state and country. Assists the Branch Chief with special projects; which may require research, organization and/or presentation of data. Prepares reports and records detailing work and projects accomplished and/or status of it. Provides input for the development, staffing and execution of training support policies and programs within TSC footprint. Input includes but is not limited to policies, procedures, SOPs, and similar guidelines for scheduling and use of training facilities, equipment, and resources.

Proficient in training and briefing Route Clearance Operations, Convoy Operation, and Unstabilized Gunnery Operation utilizing the Virtual Clearance Training Suite (VCTS) Simulators and Man Transportable Robotic System (MTRS) Virtual simulator. Provided comprehensive knowledge in the concepts, skills, and aptitude to efficiently operate the VCTS simulator. Taught over 50 Soldiers to operate the VCTS. To include features, advantages, and configurations; Introduction to the Training Curriculum and Courseware. Operation of all equipment including, but not limited to, operation of the Instructor Operating Station (IOS), and CCTV, Experienced on VCTS clearance vehicles as well as the MTRS, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of employment and Train the Trainer (TTT) courses. Provide operator level maintenance. Assisted in the inventory and accountability for equipment received; inspect equipment for damages and document findings. Ensures that the system is fully installed and ready For Training (RFT). Responsible for management and coordination of on-site simulator training. Assisted in the accountability, maintenance, custody, control, and storage of equipment. Conducted numerous tours and briefing to a wide range of Active/Reserve military, DOD civilian and civilian VIP personnel.

Very knowledgeable in the maintenance, and operation of different types of ranges. Supervised and conducted a wide variety of ranges such as Land Navigation, M16/M4, M249/M24B, Explosive and Demolition range to name a few. Experienced in the role of inspecting ranges, and range safety specialist duties. Assisted client/soldiers to determine training objectives attainable through the use of simulations and translates identified goals into live fire scenarios using military experience and knowledge, creates realistic battlefield settings for the Commander that facilitate the Army unit’s preparation for combat or training in a combat environment. Assists the clients/soldiers to determine resources, and capabilities required to provide an effective training product. Coordinates for the multiple simulators, and support personnel required to effectively execute the training scenario.

Conducted pre and post inspections of five different small arms and machine gun Ranges to ensure they are ready for units to conduct training. Operated the Range Master 9000 automated range software touch screen computer console to activate target mechanisms. Processed unit score cards and writes programs for Range Control. Performed required maintenance and repairs of electronically operated firing ranges to include operation of skid loader and farm tractor w/ front end loader. Completed Range Safety course November 2011.
