Projects

Senior Design at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta
2021 November - 2022 May
As a senior design project, my team and I worked with The Home Depot to improve their click and collect processes. I aided in the development of a batching heuristic using actual store layouts and item locations to prioritize and pick customer online orders in much less time that before. Using historical data and a combination of tableau, python and excel, our project, data and recommendations provided Home Depot a total of $12 million in potential savings for labor costs and allowed for $841 million of growth in their click and collect market.
This project was chosen as finalist and was presented to the Industrial Engineering Board at Georgia Tech.

Inside Out Podcast
2020 January - 2020 May
As part of the Personality Theory Class, I worked on a podcast through the semester. I assisted on the entire process which included script writing, audio editing and speech recording. The podcast itself centered on explaining more complex psychological concepts, such as the faults in the Myers-Briggs test and the differences with that and the more reliable Big 5 personality tests, in easy to understand words to spread knowledge of these concepts.

Food Truck Data Base

2020 March - 2020 May

As part of the SQL Databases class, I worked on a project involving the food trucks around Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta. The project was to create a database in SQL that would hold the inventories of all food trucks and for a UI to be generated for students to use that could tell you what was available and where.  This also aided in food truck owners having better knowledge of their own inventory status for ordering purposes.
