This experience provided me the opportunity to create and run educational programs for all ages. This required extensive attention to detail, and strong project management skills, to ensure all activities were completed on time and within budget.
I helped create tickets using Eventbrite and Libcal software. These tickets were released every week for out patrons to sign up for the events we were hosting.
I made flyers to help advertise our events using Shutterstock images and Microsoft Word. These flyers were used for our online presence as well as our display TV.
Created Power Points for use in our programs.
Ran cables, arranged speakers and managed projectors for diverse event requirements.
Managed daily operations of the library, including staffing issues, budgeting, inventory control, and purchasing.
Planned activities for children's story time programs.
Fostered a welcoming and inclusive library environment, encouraging community participation and lifelong learning.
I was in charge of recording all expenses for our departments budget.
Have been attending a Leadership Academy Course with our City twice a month for the past 5 months.
Attended weekly Managers Meetings to maintain all departments successes by discussing what each departments was doing and what any of their needs may be.
