For many years, I worked as an orthodontic assistant, and the patients who held a special place in my heart were those with special needs. I loved helping them feel safe, comfortable, and understood. Building trust with them and seeing them leave smiling was one of the most rewarding parts of my career. After the loss of my husband, I’ve been looking for a way to continue serving others while providing for my family. Becoming a paraprofessional feels like a natural fit because it allows me to use my patience, compassion, and experience working with children and individuals with special needs to make a difference every day. I would be honored to support teachers and help students grow, learn, and feel encouraged.
