Summary

Spanish was my first language as my parents are Mexican and Cuban natives. I taught kindergarten and first grade Spanish Immersion for 17 years. I was a classroom teacher who taught Spanish to non-native English speakers. Expert in closely monitoring student progress while implementing modern educational techniques into daily practices such as computer skills, audio book centers, project based learning, and large and small group instruction all in Spanish. TPR was used in my classroom as a technique to further enhance Spanish comprehension.
