I worked as a barista at Beyond for the first three months of my time there, and then was promptly promoted to manager. At the time I was in highschool, so I worked around 15-20 hours, and full-time during the summer/any breaks in the school year. I often traveled between different locations, heping out where was needed as well. I'm familiar with food preparation and healthy/safety standards. I often opened/closed the door by myself and would handle the cash each day as well. I was also often training new employees, and learned how to do inventory every month as well as handle product/food deliveries by myself multiple times a week. I often handled customer complaints and a large part of my job was ensuring customer satisfaction and ensuring other team members were prioritizing it as well.
