  • Develop of a foster care “Wrap Around” program to support and encourage COTC foster families in their foster care journey, developing relationships with each family to help discover their individual family needs and assigning volunteers to serve them.
  • Developed and facilitated ongoing trainings to mobilize volunteers to meet the needs of foster families compassionately and effectively.
  • Maximized existing PCO volunteer processing system and created Excel data spreadsheets for foster family and volunteer information.
  • Assisted in the development and implementation of the First Responder Team for Williamson County foster care families. This group of women assist foster families with immediate needs when they initially receive a placement.
  • Collaborate with leaders of the “Fostering Together” support group to make sure funding is available for food and curriculum requirements.
  • Assisted in maintaining relationship with Williamson County DCS.
  • Financially supporting and planning the DCS staff “Thank You" luncheon, Christmas parties along with donating gift cards for birthday celebrations and the Employee of the Month program.
  • Responding to DCS emergency requests for foster families by purchasing bedding, appliances, clothing, grocery gift cards and issuing checks for bill payments.
  • Created a meal ordering and distribution system for volunteers to deliver meals once a week to COTC foster care families during Foster Care Appreciation Month in May 2019.
  • Worked with the Kid City Team in the development and facilitation of a 2019 William County Foster Family School Supply Initiative.
