• Managed a team of 5 Quality Assurance inspectors to inspect product primarily during the packing process to monitor and maintain end product consistency across the nine different packing partners and locations within the Domex group.
• Recorded, analyzed, and distributed a monthly score card to each shipper in the group, the items covered were packing errors, rejected product, loading errors, product damages on arrival to help identify areas of opportunity both as individual packer and as a group and make the necessary improvement

• Assisted software engineer in developing and implementing the current quality assurance dashboard, providing real-time visibility into quality at time of packing including end product photos and or video.
• Traveled to several customer distribution centers mainly in the USA but also Asia, Central America, Canada and Mexico to troubleshoot arrival issues and in a couple cases as requested by a customer put together a fruit inspection training workshop with an emphasis in fruit defects of different severities and the scoring guidelines to help achieve better consistency on arrival inspections across the different DCs

• Managed a team of 8 QC team members performing fruit inspections throughout different stages of fruit production.

Harvest QC station- inspect freshly harvested fruit to help determine CA room assignment (short/mid and long term) based on fruit firmness and starch levels.

Packing line QC station- perform inspections on fruit at time of packing to ensure final product meets or exceeds USDA and specific customer requirements

Loading dock QC station- perform inspections on staged orders to ensure product being shipped meets or exceeds USDA and specific customer requirements.
