• Diagnose overall repair mechanical aircraft components as well as replace defective parts using hand tools or power tools with the goal of achieving airworthiness according to industry standards.
• Safety wiring components to secure in aircraft, includes securing nuts, bolts, heads, screws, studs etc.

Responsibilities:

- Issuance of FAA release documentation pertinent to all items released to service by the Repair Station.

- Inspection continuity, documentation, and final inspection of all items processed by the Repair Station. - Identifying, controlling, and segregating maintenance items in a serviceable or unserviceable state.

- Maintaining traceability on all parts and materials.

- Performs testing, reads blueprints and interprets results.

- Assemble more complex components that require precise placement

- Read and interpret drawings and blueprints with drawings

- Design and make simple tooling to facilitate in the assembly of parts.

- Look for and implement process improvements

- Repairs and/or assembles small aircraft components that require precise placement.

-Orders parts for repairs and assemblies.

- Documents repairs and assembly work.

- Uses hand tools and shop power tools.
