Front Desk Agent
Be the first point of contact for guest, responsible for providing a positive and efficient experience. My duty was to checking guest in and out, managing reservations, handling payments and addressing guest inquiries and concerns. Front desk agents also act as liaison between guest and other hotel departments, like housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest needs are met
Guest check-in and check-out:
Greetings guest, verifying their information, assigning rooms, and handling all necessary paperwork for both arrival and departure.
Reservation management:
Processing reservations made online, by phone, or in person, and managing room availability.
Payment handling:
Accepting various forms of payment, including credit card and cash, also issuing receipts.
Guest communication:
Responding to inquiries about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and resolving guest complaints or issues.
Coordination with other department:
Communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure rooms are prepared and request are fulfilled.
Maintaining Front Desk Area:
Ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and well stocked with necessary supplies.
Providing Information:
Offering information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
Promoting Hotel Services:
Highlighting special offers, amenities, and other services available at the hotel.
Handling Messages and Mail:
Receiving and distributing messages, mail, and packages for guest.
