Staff Support Specialist (MSS-1) in a Level 8 Terminal facility.

• Responsible for tactical, strategic, and administrative support of multiple program areas such as training, quality control, quality assurance, traffic management, airspace and procedures, plans and programs, operational automation, military operations. Special and security operations, safety management system, safety reporting and other areas of specialty identified collaboratively at the local level.
• Facility lead for operational contingency plans (ACT2), quality control program to include internal compliance verification, accident/incident, and FOIA. Administrator for CEDAR and TEAM.

Served as Air Traffic Control Specialist in Trajectory-Based Operations Group. As TBO Specialist, I was responsible for providing situational intelligence by interfacing with support organizations to ensure AJT operational awareness.

• Primary duties were GPS interference-testing liaison. Coordinated with STRATCOM, SPECTRUM, and DoD to ensure GPS testing was properly coordinated to ensure minimal effect to the NAS.

• Established procedures for a Ground Controlled Approach facility in Afghanistan using appropriate orders, TERPS, and training. This resulted in a successful flight check allowing IFR and IMC recovery operation for 42 aircraft based at the location.
