  • Being by educational tables teaching people about fossils and native Mississippi Wildlife
  • Handling snakes, box turtles, gopher tortoises, baby alligators, including an opossum and an owl
  • We would educate people about their biology and allow them to interact with the animals
  • We were handling marine wildlife from an exhibit called a touch tank, where we take out seastars and horseshoe crabs
  • Taking the box turtles and tortoise outside to get some sunlight and clover

  • Making sure that the nitrates aren't spiking, along with checking that there is no chlorine in the tank water

  • Caring for small mammals, birds, and reptiles
  • For small mammals, I refill their bowls, check if they have water in their bottles, and clean their bedding
  • For parakeets, I give them seeds, leafy greens, and fruits
  • For reptiles depend on the species feeding baby bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and crested geckos daily, live insects dusted with D3 calcium are always their primary food source
  • And I give the chameleons enclosure a mist spray
  • For snakes, I feed once a week, ball pythons depending on their size, are fed frozen thawed adult and baby mice, and for baby king snakes, they are fed frozen thawed pinkies

  • Checking on the rescued and surrendered turtles/tortoises
  • Making sure the injured turtle's shells are healing up
  • If any problems occur with the turtles and tortoises, I call about it
  • Cleaning their tubs, taking out leftover food, cleaning poop, washing their food and water bowls, refilling their water bowl, and giving fresh food

Weaknesses

One of my weaknesses is rheumatoid arthritis, but it's not an issue for me as long I'm on medication. I can move around just fine with no problems; the only thing I can't do with this condition is not pick up anything over 45 pounds.
