Protect the Nation's transportation system to ensure the freedom of movement for people and commerce.

Validate the identity of passengers and employees to allow them access into the airport sterile area. Assist individuals in divesting personal items for x-ray screening and prepare them for the screening process. Identify dangerous and prohibited items to prevent those objects from being transported onto an aircraft. Actively help others during the screening process offer to run bins, run items through the x-ray for SPD officers.

Voluntarily assist by prepping the lane to receive passengers and take the initiative to set up equipment without being asked.

Maintain communication with superiors regarding any issues that might reveal a weakness or vulnerable area of security screening that was discovered in the course of screening duties.

Use expertise and knowledge to assist others on the proper application of ATLAS SOP. Share situations with officers that happened in past to ensure future compliance of procedures. Work co-operatively with others to achieve shared goals; Share flight information with team and work with stakeholders. Serve as a mentor to new hire TSA officers. Use own foreign language to assist others.

Worked with local law enforcement, Federal Air Marshals(FAM), and U.S Customs and BorderProtection(CBP) on 9/11 VPRS.
